
Emma Biggs, 17-Year-Old Entrepreneur, Author, Expert Gardener, Radio Talk Show Co-host
Canadian entrepreneur Emma Biggs loves to garden and play in the dirt. She loves tomatoes and in 2021 grew over 80 varieties in different colors, shapes, and sizes. Emma began writing her book, Gardening with Emma when she was 13 years old. It was published two years later. Her next venture was to create and co-host The Food Garden Life Show with her father Steven Biggs. The monthly radio program gives Emma a chance to talk about her favorite topic, tomatoes. While normally an introvert, Emma has no problem speaking in public or during interviews when she gets to talk about gardening and her tomatoes.

When asked what her friends think about what she does, Emma responds they think it’s pretty cool. After all, they get to goodies from her garden when she does to visit. Her teachers though don’t know about Emma’s multifaceted life. That is all but one who bought Emma’s gardening book for her child. Emma’s does admit it is easier to talk in front of the class these days after all her public speaking experience.
