LEADERSHIP TEAM OF YOUNG AMBASSADORS
On January 28, 2018 I introduced the new team of interns and young women ambassadors. Three of them attended University of Colorado Boulder. Maegan Harris graduated in 2018 and Claudia Dresdner and Maddie Daniels graduated in May 2019. You can learn more about them as well as the original Young Women Ambassadors on that post. They were enthusiastic about promoting the Girls’ C.E.O. Connection, researching young female entrepreneurs, and for some even conducting video interviews. I am so grateful for their time, advice and support along with their infectious enthusiasm.
The fourth young woman who joined the team in 2018 was our first representative of a female member of Generation Z in high school. At the time, Dani Dresdner was a sophomore at Highland Park High School, in Highland Park, Ill. Today she is a senior and introduced three of her friends to our Editorial Team. Along with creating the Editorial Team the girls joined Dani as Young Women Ambassadors.
Our new leadership team is an awesome group. It’s always a treat to talk with each of them and get feedback on ideas for the Girls’ C.E.O. Connection programs. They enthusiastically share their insights on what’s important to female members of Generation Z who are in high school. It’s a big step in reaching the vision of a global community of girls, ages 15 to 19 who are self-sufficient and independent through entrepreneurship.
