Improve Productivity and Intelligence Listening to Podcasts Once a Week
On average, people listen to 32 hours of music a week according to a study done by Nielson. Music offers a unique opportunity to appreciate art. If you commit to listening to one 20-30 minute podcast a week, will not affect your ability to enjoy music. It will give you a unique opportunity to learn something new and expand the way you think. Whether it be on your drive to school, while you are working out, or cleaning your house it’s an easy way to make your down time more productive.
Become More Productive
Think about all the times you are doing something that requires your attention. You could be learning something that could change the way you think about your business or your life. Some of the most productive people we aspire to become are only more successful because they see time as an asset. CEO’s have just as many hours in their day as you have in yours. If you choose to invest your time wisely you will be able to succeed further in life. Listening to a podcast weekly, or even every day can be a fast application of using your downtime as a productive aspect of your life.
Action Steps
Challenge yourself this week to choose one chore or mindless task you do either every day or weekly where you normally listen to music and listen to a podcast instead. By doing this one small experiment with your time, you are on the path to becoming more successful and are starting to view your time like any entrepreneur should: as an asset.
