Meet The New Young Women Ambassadors

Meet The New Young Women Ambassadors

Welcome to Our New Young Women Ambassadors and Intern

In 2009 the first Young Women’s Advisory Team was formed in California. It began with two eighth-grade girls and one ninth- grader. Over the next three years, it expanded to a total of eight girls. They were very diverse with different cultures, races, ethnicities, and grades in school. These young women were from Orange and Riverside Counties, the Inland Empire, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Only two of them attended the same school.

We had a great time with great teamwork. Alexandra Hoang and Kelly Trinh, the first members of the Advisory Team continued throughout their college years at the University of California Berkeley. When Nashely Ruiz began her career she became a member of the Girls’ C.E.O. Connection™ Advisory Board. Alexandra and Kelly graduated in 2017.

I am so grateful for their time, advice, and support. In fact, Kelly and Alexandra became experts on interviewing well-known female entrepreneurs. They often reviewed chapters in my book, Realizing a Vision, Words of Wisdom for Young Female Entrepreneurs. Vivian Duong (Brown ’16) became proficient in writing blog posts. Vivian and Tammy Nyguen began taking part in the videotaped conversations. They were so enthusiastic about promoting the business and our Realizing a Vision Conference. You can watch their videos on our YouTube channel. One of my favorite promotional videos is the Teen Girls Want to be Part of Girls’ C.E.O. Connection.™ It’s at the opening of the channel’s page.

Thank you to all of you. I miss you and wish you all the best in your continued endeavors.

Meet the New Team

Our three highly qualified interns from Colorado University Boulder are members of the Theta Beta Chapter of Delta Delta Delta. I may be a little prejudice since that is the sorority I belonged to in college. They have helped the business in so many ways. It is hard to go over all the details. Madison (Maddie) Daniel and Claudia Dresdner are juniors in the Leeds School of Business. Maddie is our Marketing Manager and Claudia is our Social Media Marketing Manager.Claudia Dresdner, Young Women Ambassadors

Gabbie is a 19-year-old social media creator and entrepreneur from Windsor, Colorado, who is using her creative passions for photography, videography, writing, and digital design to uplift others. At 16, she wanted to keep busy during the Pandemic, so she started posting her content and writing on social media. This side hobby became Gracefully Gabbie, and she has been absolutely blessed with the opportunity to be working with brands like QDOBA, Zulily, and more to help promote their products. Gracefully Gabbie has a branch called Lucky Reads, which is a bookstagram where she writes book reviews and works with authors to help share their books with more readers.

About a year into working in the social media field, Gabbie opened a sticker business named Gracefully Gabbie’s Gifts (Now GabbiesGracefulGifts on Etsy). She has had her stickers featured in her Windsor Lake Coffee, and is working on expanding to bookmarks soon.
